Desk404 is operated by Protoboard LLC (dba Desk404). We only collect information needed to run a shared workspace and bookings. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
- Name and email (for reservations and access)
- Booking details (time, type of pass, membership)
- Payment handled securely by Stripe (we never see full card numbers)
- Basic website logs (IP address, browser, timestamps)
- Security camera footage inside the space

- Let you reserve and access the space
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Keep the space safe (this is why cameras exist)
- Handle billing and disputes
- Improve the service
Cameras
Desk404 is an unattended workspace. Cameras are used throughout the facility for safety, security, and resolving incidents. By entering the space you consent to recording in common areas.
Who we share with
- Stripe (payments)
- Our hosting and access control providers
- Law enforcement if legally required
Retention
We keep booking records as long as needed for accounting and disputes. Camera footage is automatically deleted after a short period unless needed for an incident.
Your rights
Email hello@desk404.com if you want your account data deleted. (Some records may be kept for legal or payment reasons.)
